Exam Results

Redcar Community College has achieved its best ever GCSE results in 2010:

• 90% of the Year 11 cohort achieved 5 A*- C grades producing the best results that the school has achieved to date, continuing an upward trend over the past five years. In 2009 the National Average was 70%;
• 96% of students achieved 5 A* – G. This is again above the National Average for 2009 of  92%
• These results are significantly above the school targets
• 93% of students achieved 1+ A*-C in ICT;
• 93% of students achieved 2+ A*-C in Science. Of these 33% achieved 3+;
• More students achieved A-A*’s than ever before.
